It Just Doesn’t Get Any Better Than This:

Max:   “Mom?”

Me:   “Yes, sweetie?”

Max:   “I love you”.

Me:   “Aw, I love you, too, buddy”.   [hugs]

Max:   “I love you so much that I have a hundred hearts”.

how sweet… you are a lucky woman 🙂

  3. That will make up for a million missed curfews, broken whatevers and the occasional house party when you and Bill are out! 🙂 Not to mention the sweetest Christmas present a mom could ask for! Merry Christmas to you all!

  4. Awwww…little boys are so precious. If only they could stay that way. I was telling my 9 year old son a story today as we walked in the snow together. It was one fit of many that I recall, where I was trying a new outfit on him for a family photo to make sure it fit him so I could exchange it if I needed to. It had a tie, vest and everything. He had a huge fit for 45 minutes after I took it off of him, screaming about wearing the tie again. He was about 20 months old. He laughed when I told him today and asked how I dealt with all that when they were really young. I said that all the loves and cuddles and sweet things they all said, made up for the hard times like that. He just looked at me as if to say, “Don’t think that mushy stuff will start up again!”

Sorry for rambling. There are just so many fun things to remember and I wish I blogged back then, like you do now. You can look back at all this and show the boys sometime in the years to come. And then they can look at you like you have 4 heads, like my boys look at me:) Just have a girl next, like I did. Then you can have someone to understand you a bit better:) She never looks at me weird and always still cuddles me:)
