But, I think if you're getting the right school, it's ok. The kids need to be out and around other kids before they get into "real" school so that they have that social experience. He'll be four in August, but is seems somewhat immature compared to his peers. I think it will be good for him, but reading your post made me feel much better for him. I remember picking up Punkin from preschool one day (long, long ago), and her little friend "C" stepping between she and me and announcing that they were married, and that I couldn't take her home yet. I quit work when she started kindergarten and wanted to have another baby. Now that Kelsie is getting closer to preschool age, I don't wanna send her! We have been debating on whether or not to send our 3 1/2 year old to preschool in the fall. I am a stay at home mom as well, so finances are tight, it is tough to decide to pay money to send her away when I am home anyway. But you are right - I am sure that there are so many things for her to do and learn at preschool that she would not do here. Maybe, we'll see. :) Looks like Max is enjoying it! That is really great.
